On October 20th, Community Savings received the Professional Business of the Year Award at the Business Awards Ceremony in Sylvan Lake. The 29th Annual Business Awards, hosted by the Sylvan Lake and District Chamber of Commerce, recognized businesses and employees for their outstanding performance in their area of expertise.
Sylvan Lake Branch Manager, Brent Schulmeister, noted, "we're extremely proud to receive this award, which recognizes the excellent customer service we offer our members. He explained, "this award represents the dedication our staff has to delivering outstanding service, in light of recent staff changes and the implementation of a new banking system."
To exceed member expectations, Community Savings uses a service philosophy called Member 1st. Member surveys are conducted regularly to monitor customer service satisfaction. In response to member requests, Community Savings offers extended banking hours, including evenings and weekends, provides a staffed Contact Centre, and is building additional branches in growing communities.
