  • Community Savings acknowledges that the Internet is not a secure medium. Because of this, we have taken every possible measure to ensure your confidential information is safe and secure.

    Encryption security
The type of encryption you have depends on the type of browser you use. The 40-bit encryption is the basic minimum standard, while 128-bit encryption is the most secure form of encryption in use today. Your browser must have the capability to use this level of encryption. Both Netscape Navigator and Microsoft Internet Explorer offer 128-bit encryption with versions 4.0 or higher.

Our online banking, online trading and the online application forms utilize 128-bit encryption. This is currently the highest form of encryption available. We continuously monitor available encryption abilities and will ensure upgrades to encryption as they become available.

    Password Protection
When you log into our online banking and online trading, you require a login ID, as well as a password. These two components also offer security for your protection. Please do not share these two components with anyone as this jeopardizes your security.

Caution:Community Savings will never ask you to disclose your password. If you are requested to do so, either by phone or email, do not disclose this information and advise Community Savings immediately.

    Email
Please use caution when sending email messages. Unprotected emails can be intercepted, lost or altered. We encourage you to refrain from including account numbers and other confidential information when using email.
