The merger between Common Wealth Credit Union Limited, Community Credit Union
Ltd. and Servus Credit Union Ltd. has been approved by the
membership of all three credit unions. The new credit union
will commence operations November 1, 2008 with approximately
$9 billion in assets and will serve Alberta members from border
to border. This merger will make our credit unions stronger
and ensure long-term viability. By bringing the collective
strength and commitment of Community, Servus, and Common Wealth
together, we can ensure that the true credit union way of
banking will be sustained in Alberta for generations to come.
